Dr. Pankaj Sanwal founded Rainbow Pediatrics in December 2001. Rainbow Pediatrics is the only pediatric practice in Georgetown, Delaware. Our skilled staff consists of two excellent board-certified pediatricians, Dr. Pankaj Sanwal & Dr. Vibha Sanwal, and medical assistants. The majority of our team is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. We strive to deliver premium health care compassionately and thoughtfully to all newborns, infants, children, and adolescents from our two office locations, Georgetown and Lewes.

 

We believe that pediatricians are trained to help you achieve healthy lifestyles for your child, offer advice to prevent illness and injuries, provide early and appropriate care for acute illness to prevent its progression, treat life-threatening childhood conditions, and guide you in anticipating your child's needs from birth through late adolescence. As part of our extensive training, pediatricians are experienced in children's physical, emotional, and social development. Children may be too young or shy to talk when seen at the doctor's office, and we understand the importance of listening carefully to your child and you. We do our best to answer your questions or find you the answers and to help you to understand and promote your child's health and development. We also address issues affecting a child's family and home environment.
